ShopGirl, a trendy gift boutique, is located in the Historic District of Nolensville. Opening in August 2008 and approaching its first anniversary, ShopGirl proprietor, Melissa Sisk, is very pleased with the boutique’s success. Sisk, an interior designer, brings her creative flair to this hip and affordable boutique.

DedicAteD, an inspiring line of tees created by Sisk, are also available at ShopGirl. “My dad passed away in 2007 and I wanted to honor him in a special way.” Sisk’s creativeness comes to life in this line of vintage tees. Currently, there are five styles available including faith, hope, love, peace, and believe. Sisk plans to unveil the newest addition to the line in October.
Having just returned from the Atlanta Gift Mart, ShopGirl has new merchandise arriving weekly. “The new fall lines that were purchased at market are both trendy and very affordable.” While Sisk continues to tweak her product lines, she is pleased with the overall success of ShopGirl.

Spring at ShopGirl

Spring has arrived in Tennessee.  After a rather chilly beginning to March, the temperatures are mild and the sun is shining!  ShopGirl has a new look and a lot of new merchandise.  While at market in Atlanta, I purchased some really cool jewelry along with picking up two new tee shirts lines to compliment my DedicAteD line of tees.  Also, I should be giving my web address out soon so all of you can do some online shopping!

DedicAteD is a line of tee shirts that I designed with the help of my friend and graphic designer, Royce, in the fall of 2008.  The tag line says "an inspiring line of tees DedicAteD to the men who taught us to dream".  DedicAteD was created as a tribute to my dad who passed away in October 2007.  As an only child and after losing my mom in 1991, my dad was my "it".  He and I had a very special relationship and to be honest, I was always a "daddy's girl".  The first four tees in this line are appropriately tagged as Faith, Hope, Love, and Peace.  DedicAteD tees have a vintage vibe and layer well over a long sleeve tee or cami.  The tee does not stretch or shrink.  Sizes are S, M, L, XL. The tee runs a size small so I suggest that you order a size larger than you normally wear.
